I found that portrait by sheer accident on my second playthrough of Moonbrooke. I got an idea for the Killerpillar couch. I'll make it on my game tag it as the Cheeky Killerpillar couch or try to might just call it the Killerpillar couch.

You can encounter the mimic well before this point. I just don't remember well. I didn't go through all the jumping. When I reached the tower, I went into the jumping puzzle, said "nope" to myself thinking it would be harder than it is, went outside and looked up. To my luck I saw an opening and just build a path straight up to the boss room.

Speaking of the Princess of Moonbrooke, this game does a callback to the original Dragon Quest 2. I won't give any spoilers to those that don't know, but take Ra's Mirror with you Furrow Fields and show it to the dog. You'll be in for quite the surprise when you do~ As a matter of fact, "the dog" from Furrow Fields the becomes a recruit recruitable character (post game) after showing her the mirror. Trust me, you definitely want to do this. This event can take place as early as the end of chapter 3 when you get Ra's Mirror back from one of the characters you bring back to the island. EDIT: Ben, if you do a video on how to get all the different resident types, save this one for last.

I am just about to end Chapter 3. That tower with the springs was annoying because I kept over jumping some when trying to get to the top springs to go up the level. I ended up deciding when I got up like the second one just to hammer through the walls to see if anything else was on that level and didn't want to deal with the springs anymore. LOL. So yeah that one Puzzle that uses them was annoying for me as well, but I did manage getting it. Just was annoying missing the spring pad and falling back down a few times.

Because I was playing with my friend and she asked me how I got it and I didn't know we searched on Google but we couldn't find how(there was only dragon quest builders video and not the 2) if someone could explain how to have it please answer me

I got two from a Builderdom's Best build on an explorer's island (one of the early ones). Apparently golems can drop them, information searched through a Discord server.

I think after you beat the story AND complete 30 tablet targets you are able to spend gratitude on items you have held before. Though there are a few story items you cannot duplicate this way.

Can someone help please. I’m in moonbrooke. I scooped up poison water ( because I was going to put a little fishing hole behind my castle ). But when I scooped up the fresh water from the other hole, it removed all the water, but I only have poison in my pot!! Ughhhh. I can’t make the stew without the water.

Spoiler question....... Ben I can’t seem to find an answer to this anywhere. Will I be able to come back to the other castle surrounded by grass and flowers to either rebuild it or completely tear it down for “parts”, lol. I’m about to go for the red orb, but with all the illusion and disappearing talk, I’m afraid to move on Incase I can’t come back later.

@@bastibjornburkhardtcrypto1881 I don't know if you necessarily have to complete the story first, but you do need to complete so many build targets to get it. I think it was somewhere around 30 or 40. Then the Hairy Hermit should tell you about it. (Both Switch and PS4)
