This is an interesting perspective from the point of view of a homoromantic asexual person. I personally don't actively look for love or a partner because it is a different journey for me. I have accepted the fact that finding a partner is going to be a journey and experiences. It was an experiences just to discover my sexuality.

You're right about long distance. however the definition of what that distance is and how often you are able to see each other can play a factor. for instance, I think about an hour away is not necessarily fostering false realities. especially if you're a working professional who only has 1-2 times to meet which for me is healthy in early dating. add to that where I am it's very limiting to not be open minded to at least a 1 hour distance. but i can only speak for myself ultimately. I hope those who are fortunate enough to live in bigger cities with lots of options should are grateful! haha

So how is it Barret that with all you have goin for you, look's, physique, carreer, common sence, good judgement, & personality that you haven't found someone or someone of the same qualities hasn't found you??? If I were ever lucky enough to find a person like you I would be willing to do whatever it would take to make it work in a caring, fun & respectfull way. Do you think that sometimes people set there standard's a little to high & expect a little to much??? For myself if a relationship didn't feel easy & comfortable & drama free it wouldn't happen. I like to feel at ease when I'm with someone. I think people need to get to know each other & be good friend's before they should become lover's, but that's just my way of thinkin, it might be old fashioned but it is what it is. Hi Barrett, Some gay men look at straight people and envy them. However, they are looking from the outside, not the inside. We should start to realize that life is not necessarily wonderful just because you are not gay. And some women who easily attract men, might not be attracting the best ones! And these attractions might just be based on sex and have not basis for a long term relationship.

I've always preferred straight people over gay people, even tho i'm gay myself. The reason being that i've never met a nice gay person in my life. They have either been selfish, shallow as you mention or extremely perfectionist. Are all gay people a bunch of sociopaths? wow your videos are a bit mesmerizing. Your thoughts on finding love are odd. Love, I mean true love, should not be easily labeled. I want to find someone whom I can love no matter what he looks like, how much money they have etcc, and I want to be loved for the same. Your waist size has noting to do with love, neither does your bank account or your job. If you belive it does you are truly lost.
