I always feel gorgeous in my black skintight bodycon dress😍 like you said, it makes EVERYTHING stand out. When I wear it and look into the mirror I sometimes think "does my body really looks so good? Is this real?" 😅

My favourite dress is my grandma's dress: coral colored translucent silk (woah, that's so difficult to pronounce :D) two-layered vintage piece of splendor. It's fitting me good as hell highlighting all my body features that I want to be more noticeable - and so did for my grandma~

Hi from another pear! Please check Kibbe's body types (he is a stylist), there are videos on youtube and blogs about his system, I suggest AlyArt. It's a bit complicated at first, but once you get it.. oh well, I changed completely how I see myself. My self-esteem increased so much. It tells you how to see your beautiful features that make you unique and embrace them instead of correcting non existent defects. There's a test to do.

I like dresses that are very formfitting on the top part and a skater skirt like on the bottom. That highlights my small waist pretty well. Also, sleeves are a must buy mostly because I get cold super easy

I took me years to realize what shape I like in an outfit... Now I know I feel confident when I wear something adding volume on the top (oversize tucked in shirts, wide sleeves...) to compensate for my tiny boobs and skinny shoulders, and something fitting on the bottom to highlight my legs and hips! I'll also apply these rules when looking for a dress now :)

I have a beautiful modern hanbok dress which means traditional Korean costume made for everyday and mine is wrap dress with beautiful, orienral flower patterns in orange and olive green leaves. Always feel special and safe, elegant even when I want to hide myself but let dress speak. Love that ugly coffee Christmas sweater btw 😘

I think this made me realize a bit more about what I like. I commented previously that I'm petite hourglass that's vertically balanced. I love showing off my waist and decolletage. I find that I don't have a particularly long neck and softer arms even if I have pretty wide shoulders. For me musts in dress are showing off some of the chest area, I don't like the dress to be too plunging, but I want to make my neck look longer. I like sleeves, especially 3/4 or butterfly style. Off-shoulder dresses achieve prior two points. Always cinched in at the waist. I live for that waist emphasis, it's my favourite part of my figure. I like my hips, but don't mind them hidden, so a-line or bodycon it doesn't matter too much to me. My most loved lengths are above knee and midi/maxi. One of my favourite dresses I have bought recently are slightly out of my comfort zone - 3/4 sleeve, slightly plunging neckline, yet almost off-shoulder, fitted ruched mini dress in black. I feel like it shows off a lot - chest, waist and legs (thank fashion gods for safety shorts!). But I feel confident how I look in it. This is my NYE party look this year with some Dolce and Gabanna 2019 inspired accessories and over knee boots. Another one is almost boho, periwinkle blue, maxi dress with slightly ruched half sleeves, v neckline with lace detailing, high waist. It's more fitted on top, yet softly flowing and not too wide for the skirt. It was a total steal. Perfect for many wedding seasons. I tend to hunt for these sorts of things second hand on eBay. Thank you for the lovely video, Jenny!

I’ve found I like fit and flare dresses best for my body, especially with a belt, because it makes my waist look smaller, and my hips and chest look larger, plus the more old fashioned style fits my aesthetic!

I like dresses that show of the beautifull curve of my back. Usually skintight or dress with belt is my go to. I say always no to loose boxy dresses with no shape, because I am smoll and round so I will look even more smoll and round in unflatteing way. But long dresses with loose silhuette can sometimes work, if they have flowy and "dancing in the wind" look.

You know fucking what? These are the best body type videos. Every other blogger claims that beautiful comes from within and then goes off about small waists, flat tummies, wide hips, beauty construct this and beauty construct that. But Jenny? NO. Jenny encourages us to *OWN IT* . Whatever you like about yourself: Accentuate it! Show it off! Is it your neck? Give it a whirl, girl (okay, not literally) Is it your left elbow? I‘m going to a ball tonight and another one tomorrow, both of my dresses are low cut to make my rather small boobs look their best, one has a deep back cutout, the other is backless to show off my back which I like and one of the dresses fits very tightly on my butt and has some detail there, both are very tight on the waist 😌 I see I intuitively followed the advice you give here when I bought them

My problem is I cannot sit in a way that dresses and skirts are even an option. Sure they're pretty and fine for mostly standing events but if I have to sit down, I need shorts man. I'm a live-in-mini-shorts kind of person. I'm an Aussie so, 40 degree summer days, I don't care if you think I'm "dressed like a slut" it's fucking hot people. In the winter time I tend to also avoid the dress/skirt scenario in favour of trackies. (sweats, joggers, whatever you want to call them, in Aus they're track suit pants or, as we have to abbreviate everything, trackies) Though, if I do wear a dress it's either long black witchy looking maxi dress, skin tight tank-top style midi or, tight mini with long sleeves. I avoid sleeveless, they just look awful on me no matter what I do.
