It was time for you to expand Dimitra , good on you for honouring that and having faith . So many people stay stuck and allow others to control their future. I cannot tell you how much you and your mum resonate with me on so many levels. Am super excited to enrol in the mastery program, I cannot wait . Thank you for making this possible ❤

Love your story of how you found your style … thru collaboration. ❤. Dimitri your story is so inspiring as well. Such a interesting process … the journey continues. ❤❤. I am a artist … would love to have a gallery or many have my art. I am in Maui every year as well and also inspired by the Hawaiian culture.

Sadly I started watching when it was already finished. But you know, I am always glad to hearEli and Dimitria. Not really because they are authority figure, they are. But more because they allow us to understand the annouances of their journeys and what were the method that worked for them. Almost like an artist friend that allows me (or us) to reflect. I can resume it that is so possitive overall

A very generous and enlightening workshop,, thank you both,, I joined the mastery program in May and working very slowly , and I mean slow, through the program, due to life and work, I realise people are impatient to find their voice and style but after this workshop I know now that like the skills I am learning the road to my voice is the adventure as well... I like the way that you have a strong family and that you stay together and are loyal to each other. This is a huge plus for you and is testimony to a good character. I think you guys would be very capable of getting people to paint so it would sell. But I'm not sure yet that I want to compromise.

Years ago I was looking into going to art school in San Francisco. To get in to this prestigious school, you need 25 huge canvases finished as a portfolio that best represents your art and style. And around like $25,000 dollars per year PLUS being able to afford to live there on top of that (thousands of dollars per month will get you 10 roommates, one bathroom and dining on top ramen and barely surviving). I was mystified.. I mean, aren't I going to their school to discover who I am as an artist and to learn how to paint and draw?! If I already knew all that and had a portfolio, and knew my artist style and voice.. what on Earth would I need them for, then?! They said their advantage is they know art gallery owners across the world and have connections. I was thinking.. all I need to do is walk into any gallery and show my paintings.. if they like them, I've got a deal. If not, move on thank you, next. That part isn't nearly as hard as learning how to create, draw and paint! I am an ace negotiator. Plus everything is done online now.. it seems relatively straightforward. I can make my own connections.. But now I have you guys!! I will have to work a few months and build up my savings but I'm hoping to join the Master Program next year, in maybe 6 months. Or less. Then I can afford it. 😊 Thank you guys so much for all this! ❤️

It's a pity that you were on your lowest point in Greece at the exact same time when the atmosphere in Greece was at its peak because they sensationally won the football European Championship in the summer of 2004. (the only thing the country ever won at anything, I guess)

Interesting that everyone paints the same in this programme, so instead of finding your own voice you are basically getting influenced by each other. Nothing wrong with “realistic” paintings and no abstract skills, some of us don’t like that style.
@MermaidMoneyАй бұрын
That's not true at all, not even a little bit. I downloaded their app and absolutely everyone has a unique voice and style. New art uploaded daily. Landscapes in pastels, charcoal, oil, abstract, Realism, you name it, it's on there. Different color palettes, styles, mediums. It's all very inspiring.

So ,in the end everyone paints girls with flowers? Dont get me wrong. You say helpful things also.
@wshow113 ай бұрын
I do agree with you unequivocally. It does seem that most of the artists from these masterclasses are encouraged in the direction of the Milan's art output. I do doubt that it's intentional, but, when the same people are critiquing all of the art, it is almost certain that the artist will gravitate toward hearing a pleasing critique. Almost impossible not too!!

@@tuerklinke9370 Not at all boring. Just simply a topic that I, myself, have thought on several occasions. I gain a lot of knowledge and ideas from the folks at Milan. Very interesting and seemingly insightful people and wonderful artists.

Just that it's hard to "not" make paintings that look like theirs.

Yes could be that unintentional mechanism you discribed. I like painting water or a very interesting face sometimes. I paint landscapes from another Planet or a Wood. But what i love most is looking AT an animal for hours to paint. It connects me with that animal. And if i Do Not understand a human i paint the Face. I have great Respekt for the old art where there are many Things in the picture that tell a Story. I never painted a girl.

What a disempowering video. No style unless you can afford to spend hours a day & pay for this class that looks like it gives everyone YOUR style. Wow. This video is haunting in its ability to make one feel like crap without following your steps. Maybe you should read Julia Cameron - the Artist Way - to free your mind & dump your superior opinions . So, maybe you think we are not artists, but I’ll continue to play with paints anyway and take in helpful advice from people who empower. Thanks for the free “commercial”, no thanks

That seems like a very negative and narrowminded view. They offer individual classes and workshops. Starting from $10! I prefer to learn from people who have literally made millions of dollars selling art, (as they have.. 10,000 individual paintings between Ellie and her husband have sold!!) versus trying to learn from a struggling artist on KZbin, but hey, that's just me! To each their own. Practice does increase your artistic abilities over time, especially with great instruction. You may find Rev. Ike helpful (his stuff is here, for free on KZbin) to raise your money mindset consciousness.
