I have Hue Cool Value Light or mediu Chroma Muted. I thought I was a cold winter but i think i'm a soft summer. Idk.

What does it mean if I think I am autumn but look good in winter colors? It seems I shouldn’t be able to wear those colors given they are cool colors.

One of the two color palettes will suit you better! And whichever one does is your color season. Autumn is warm and Winter is cool.

I NEED HELP. My skin I have always known to be cool, I have very very pale skin with red undertones…but my hair doesn’t look ashy, or dull. My hair is a medium brown with natural brassy blonde and red highlights…how and what do I do?!

@nicoleschilling6420 thank you so much for replying! I have since figured out I’m a soft summer, mainly due to my cool undertones. Autumns have warm undertones- but you are still close, I’m a soft summer which is closer to autumn, due to the highlights in my hair! My hair does go well with autumn colors, but those colors really yellow my skin and make me look sick. Cool undertones are key for me! I really wish warm undertones worked with my skin, it would really open up options for me cuz my hair really does look good with muted warm tones!

Just soft summer season includes us- brown eyed cool and muted skinned people😇 true or light summers all blue eyed.

Why when I colored my hair black did it change my color season? It seems it should stay the same.

No changing your color season does not change your color season :)

This is so general and not really in depth. The 16 one is better. You can have natural golden tones in the hair in the sun if you are Cool. Like Soft summer (with golden highlights and neutral skintone) borderline with Soft Autumn or a Light Summer (blond golden hair) borderline with Light Spring. For example: Soft Summer, Cool Summer and Light Summer can all "borrow" from a warm season like: Soft summer can perhaps borrow from Soft Autumn. And that is why people struggle with finding the right subgroup. And if you look good in all 3 in every catagory you are "true" and that means you can't borrow from a borderline undertone. That is why it's sometimes confusing with celebrities because their stylist or themselves know how to mix from cool to warm and warm to cool and still match. Hence the placement of the catagories in the wheel. Every catagory can borrow if they aren't "true" to their specific subcatagory.
