I have a good f tip that i found also and my voice used to suck badly. Even when you rap try to hit notes when you do and deliver it. Angry beat? Angry delivery (angriness within reason) + try to hit notes (even if it is a monotone normal voice. Good examples are 50 cent in da club and pimp - like if you try to hit the notes of "i dont know what you heard about me" and say it completely monotonely youll quickly realise that its not working. Same with lose yourself from Em and so on). The rest is experimentation finding beats that suit you like coach said and practice ggwp

@JoeySkate24
@JoeySkate24 Жыл бұрын
ok i will give you THE BEST TIP my guy! 1.you have to find your vocal range and then 2.find the key of the beat. 3. (most important) if you have a DAW you can record your ''go to'' rapping voice so to speak (record 4 or 8 bars) then google ''tunebat analyzer'' and put that 4 or 8 bar recording in there. that will tell you what key your go to rap voice is. 4- experiment with that and go ahead and record 8 bars and repeat the process with that website and you will end up maybe with 3-6 different keys. 5. take a note of those keys and then when you go through beats the next time have those notes with you. if its not on the keys of your ''rap voice'' then you dont rap to it OR if YOU made the beat, you can simply change the key of the beat by lowering or increasing the pitch of the melodies in it. Pro tip: rap voice = delivery (what emotion you convey in voice, calm,sad,angry,lit,confidence,swaggy etc) + the pitch of voice (the notes that your voice hits COMFORTABLY) + tone of voice (pretty much nothing you can do about this one as the coach said). So, nobody talks about all that i know but trust me when i say this, your voice is like an instrument and it wont fit all beats (think of beats as instruments too). Thats what i got after years in this. and it DOES MAKE A HUUUUGE difference. Lasts steps when recording is 1. make sure you pour the emotion in it (like an actor - pretend to be sad or lit in your voice) and exxagurate that a lot so it comes out in the recording + 2. make sure your key matches the key of the beat and if it doesnt pick a different beat or change the pitch of the melodies of the beat. Have fun my guy
