Excellent comments about working from photos as well as experience actually out there at the scene. Reminded me of our experience in Lucca with tourists looking over our shoulder and taking photos of us sketching as a group in the workshop. Then we all sat around outside a cafe to work on our sketches together. That’s what I remember most about that day!
