Each video, while playing, gets paused often... I go to something and start doing whatever on paper, sketchbooks, and the covers of course canvas. Yr enthusiasm is contagious. Using colorful combos is something to teach us more about. Getting new artists showing up on KZbin since I've started watching U. Take sandpaper over the chalk painted frames for a distressing that may go with some of ur tea pot series...and plz more tea pot and vase shapes...videos. Look forward to shorts ... how about 2-3 a week, it will help grow ur subscribers to the nx thousand. Also, like when U add outdoorsy scenes. Seein other areas of this world makes for a Vaca in the mind. Ann, Florida fan.

Have a wonderful exhibition! Love all of your videos, they inspire me and I love seeing you revise your works, showing that you can change things up. Wish my husband was a resident frame maker for me, I think he needs a new hobby! Maybe your husband could do a quick bit on how he makes the frames? Would love to see that. I have my own mitre box and saw! Thanks for all you do. Love your channel!

@@gaynorpattle No worries, my husband would feel the same way, and surely would have also spit his coffee :-) . I think I will try to put one together, I think it's just a basic floater type frame with wood going around the back, to give the panel a place to be attached. I just love your videos, each one is so fresh and inviting and kind of like hanging out with a friend. Thanks for all you do!

Hi, I am binge watching your videos and enjoying how open and vulnerable you are! And that you share a lot about the process and how you feel and what inspires you. Because as someone just starting out learning to paint and in my 60's I had the strange idea that I should complete a painting in one sitting and then felt discouraged when that didn't happen. You have really helped me! I would like to know what kind of paper those very large sheets are? I've searched the internet and can't find anything except easel sheets or rolls and don't know if that works for painting. Thank you!

Hello Jodi and a big Welcome, thank you for a lovely message. You would be amazed by how many people think you have to sit down and produce a masterpiece in one go 😂It took me ages to discover a better method ! Those large sheets have sat under my sofa for a few years - they were given to me and I can only guess that they are at least 200 gsm - probably more. I would google A1 heavy duty art paper - I wish I could be more helpful but I haven't bought anything as I have quite a pile to get through ! I would also say that I experiment on different weights and sizes. Let me know how you get on. 🥰

Hi Gaynor. I adore your work, the way you experiment, ❤️ ♥️, no fear there of messing things up, and as you say, mistakes can end up fabulously, scrummy work. It's all about keeping in tune with our child within, cannot go wrong when we do. Just look at how freely little ones express themselves, truly is beautiful. And I hope you have a wonderful exhibition. Much ❤️ love to you. Jules.

Gaynor- i so love the way your thin canvases and canvas boards sit into the frames. Is there any chance your resident framer would be willing to share how he makes these frames? I am also curious how they are attached into the frames if you drop them in from the front.... so many questions!! Thank you for sharing your process so freely❤😊

Hello Stacey, I'm going to share Craig's framing technique this Thursday - for the thin canvases, he uses thin strips of soft wood to pack the canvas up to make it flush with the edge of the frame. I'll try and expand on this in a video in the New Year 🥰
