I don't know why you said you shouldn't paint with so much yellow, because I absolutely LOVE that painting that you show at the end, finished and framed, which has a lot of yellow. So much lovely in this video from over a year ago! Just to remind you, you show a lot of frames that you got at charity shops here. That reminds me of me, as I have quite a collection that I have gotten FREE at our local "Reuse" stores, located at our local dumps (tips), where we can drop off anything we no longer have use for, and pick up anything there that we would like. It is quite amazing, and it saves so much going into the landfill. Every video of yours I find so inspiring and I am every so grateful that my friend introduced me to you. She and I were on a bus tour today and were talking about you - she saying how vibrant and lively you were and how much she loves your work. Me again saying how much your are helping me discover my own art voice, and how inspired I am by all that you share in these videos. You are never too "talkey" for me. Wax on about anything... I am here listening!

When the video moved to the inside studio, the one on the trolley definitely *sparked joy*. I'm a sucker for yellow. Had a week in what we call "cold country" in Brisbane - Stanthorpe. Lots of ridges, vineyards, fruit farms, fireplaces. It has definitely inspired me for the next 6 months. Thanks for another inspiring video.

I thought that another thing you could do is actually cut the paper down even smaller so that shapes would be larger by comparison. Love your square canvas with the 2 blues and black marks. You’ve got so many challenges and probably already done what I’m going to suggest! But just in case…Tape your imperial sheet into 6 (a la Louise Fletcher) cover with gesso so you can’t see the tape and for some texture, add your marks right across the sheet - big marks , big arm movements, strong colours and whatever else. Lift off the tape when dry. It’s a bit more random. Sorry if you’ve already been there and got the t shirt!! Loving your videos. Thanks Jill R 😊
