I used to prefill my angles too, then I realized I could just tape over those gaps twice and it works just as well

Back in the seventies when I started, they didn't have the easy sand quickest. All we had was the durabond. Had to make sure and clean your tools before it got too hard, or you'd be chipping the mud off! We didn't have lightweight mud back then either.

Back 25 years ago I had a rookie mix up some durabond right before lunch to pack a couple breaks. He said he was going to employ his pan after lunch. Well it went into the trash. I gave him an extra I had. Lol!
