Nothing better then watching such a humble legend just enjoying catching some nice bass. And hey teaching us while he is at it also. I've never added a slip wieght to my swimbaits like that but I will be now thank you Mr Roland Martin. Also fun fact Roland Martin is a big part of what originally got me into bass fishing over 25+ year's ago and now I have a ridiculous lure collection tons of rods and so on lol and I couldn't be happier. So glad he started a KZbin channel I really missed seeing him on the TV for so many year's but not I get to watch him whenever again now that's a awesome deal👊🎣

I'm 52, and guessing a little older than you. I grew up watching Roland Martin, Bill Dance, and Jimmy Houston, hands down Roland was the best. My buddy and I were talking, about how much those guys influenced our fishing styles, wthout even knowing.

I'm 39 my buddy and I always loved watching shows we recorded on vhs at 3 am getting ready to walk our way to the river and lake for 5am fishing when we were just little kids. Roland is a true legend of course many others as you listed also played a role into my bass fishing love but mostly it was Roland Martin.

You're the King Roland! I'm 40 now, I remember watching you on TV with my dad when I was a kid. If you ever need a fishing buddy or a camera man around Atlanta, it would be a serious honor!

Me catching a 6 pound bass: freak out, take pictures, call my buddies, make a video, sit there for 10 minutes to calm down, talk about it for weeks. Roland catching a 6 pound bass: a no-look toss back in the water and never stops talking to the camera, pulse rate maintained.

I discovered Roland Martin on an episode of Deal Or No Deal from 2007 where a 22 year old college guy was a contestant and who was there with his college squad, and who was a fan of Roland. I wonder if that guy still went fishing with Roland, and if there's anything online that says what it was like.

That’s the deal Mr. Martin! I’m going fishing in the morning. In the spawn is it better to go fishing in the morning, mid day, or afternoon? Or does it matter?
@LuisGutierrez-fi5rv3 жыл бұрын
I know i'm not roland but I do love a good spawn bite! For the spawn mid day is your best friend, you need the sun up to properly see the fish, try to go on a nice calm sunny day! Don't forget your polarized glasses.

I’ve always been a fan but you really shouldn’t be throwing your used soft plastics into the water likes it’s your own personal trash can. I understand they fall off in the water all the time but don’t intentionally throw them away in the water.
