Could you show how you set up the wiring lay out on the Electra glide using the metra inner fair with Sony ax7000 using the evo 800 ? I used the setup style you have exactly but can’t close the front fairing on now 🤦🏻‍♂️

So I have the metro amp rack and two 800.4’s was gonna mount the dsr1 right behind the radio. But your saying it won’t fit. I also bought an aftermarket day maker headlight. Does this headlight give me the clearance I need to make it fit. I have all the bodywork at the paint shop so test fitting right now is not an option and I didn’t see how the dsr would fit where your video shows. Have the diamond mp654 on the bike now. I have been going over this In my mind over and over and it’s driving me crazy. Now if what I’m trying to do doesn’t work I’m back to redesigning again. Gotta look at the video again. I literally just woke up and this video was front and center on my phone. Long night at work. But I’m gonna look at it again. By the way thanks for all your videos. Im a do it yourselfer and I have learned so much from you!

Did you use an amp rack and if so what brand? I asked lex in the past and he said he didn’t make one for the older bikes. I’m running the aquatic head unit if that makes any difference. Thanks for all the helpful videos.

Ok new to this kinda stuff but y would do you need 2 amps on the bike if one isnt for the subs ? Just curious are you running 8 speakers plus the subs ? Or is this just for fairing and bag speakers ?

Hey Carlos. I love my Hertz speakers but don't see you doing many Hertz amp installs. You prefer the SounDigital over Hertz amps?

Yes They are smaller and more powerful We use 2 800.4 in most installs The hertz amps are excellent but 2 won’t fit without cutting

I deleted my radio and was able to fit a 2k euphoria, 1200.4 evox, 800.4 evops, 400.4 evox, and a twk 88 dsp all in 2009 street glide

So the inner fairing speakers are 6.5 with a adapter? Is that done with all speakers including the cicadia 6.5s. Or is there a inner fairing you recommend that's aftermarket.

I’m sorry We use a dsp on every bike I would start with the crossover around 100 hz high pass and gains set with a ac volt meter with a target voltage of 23 volts ac with a 1000 hertz test tone

I believe it’s metra. It has the double din cut out so you can upgrade the stereo. I seen an aftermarket one on Amazon.

I have that same inner fairing, the batwing will bolt on with a 1200.4 EVOX but it will crack your paint, Atleast it did for my 08 SG, even after trimming the gauges and sliding it back as far as possible it still was pressing up against the fairing and spider cracked my paint, but I’ve been told a 800 will fit

how are the db drive moto 6 cds? for right now im looking at a pair of those and an amp to upgrade the stock speakers on my 17 street glide. i ride everyday. i literally dont have a car. my biggest concern is will they hold up to rain?

I’m looking to run two evo x 400.4 amps in my 13 what did you run for power wire ? 4 gauge to distribution block to 8 gauge or two 8 gauge wires to battery. Would 8 gauge power them both with correct fuse?

After 5:32 for a 2006 Electra glide using the same setup I seen you have . the aftermarket ax7000 Sony deck with the Metra inner fairing I have 2 - DS18 pro 6.5 on the front and 2 - DS18 pro 6x9s in the bag lids. So do I need 2 evo 800s and if so will they fit in with a DSP and is the DSP necessary ?

@@jacksanchez7229 the sound digital amps are guaranteed to fit most of the other amps on the market are a little too big . You don’t “Need” a dsp but we use one on every build to make the bikes sound better

Do you know if there would be any extra room in a Metra fairing with digital gauges for a 2013 Electra Glide? Just finished up my bagger project with the exception of the audio (audio to be installed this weekend) and when we switched to digital gauges, we didn't have to use some of the harnesses that were plugged into the existing aftermarket gauges, so I'm thinking we may have gained some room there.

You don’t gain any room because you still use the factory gauge brackets Maybe a half inch

So I looked up the dimensions on the dsp in the video it’s actually just slightly larger than the dsr. But I did notice the bracket that stabilizes the fairing has been removed. The one normally under the speaker to the center support. Was this just for the video or is it permanently removed for this setup. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

I’m so sorry but I do not sell my tens over the counter We only install them in house that way we can maintain quality control Our install , our wiring , our tune . We run them on a 1200.2 1600.1 3000.1 or a 5000.1 There are 3 tens on the market that are equivalent to ours Expert euphoria 10 Beyma power ix 10 Prv Neo 1000 nb I recommend one of those 3
