How to fit front light headlight guards to Land Rover Discovery 3

Anyone watching this for tips and especially for the owner of the car in this video: - The headlight guards themselves should be installed after the lights are back on BUT before placing the grill back on since the plastic tabs/clips @ 7:20 on the inner side of the guards go inside the grill, NOT like in this video where they are squished between the grill and the headlight @ 7:25. The correct way is those clips are inside the grill...

Grille goes on last after guard is in place..so the clips are behind the grille edge....simple.

My D3 came with them already fitted as part of the Urban Cruiser Pack! According to the AA Man & Halford's Man they are a real pain as the screws rust in and have to be drilled out! The screw themselves can be bought from Halford's as part of their brake block kit, as Landrover want £ 86 for the Kit

Not sure why anyone would want these for anything other than 'bling'. The reality is that they don't really 'protect' the light from anything .. they just look nice! But then again .. for the price tag I've seen on eBay etc, they bloody well should do something other than look nice. Maybe if they had a perspex cover over the whole frame, at the rear, they would afford some protection at least, from stones and rocks breaking a light.

Agree, zero protection just bling. I'd like a good mesh cover on mine. Can't find any.
