Are the MOT tyrants going to fail this in the UK? I'm new to the UK and will have to get my car inspected in early October. Will I have to refit the original air box/engine cover before inspection?

Nice. I sel these oversized kits also in NL for the 2.0 tfsi engines. Did you remap the car? If not mount a gfb dv+ then remap it. Stage 1 can go up to 270hp then.👌

I had a custom remap done before the filter but once I done some more power mods I go and get another map done 👍🏻

Hey Chris, can you confirm whether or not this kit came with the 2 bracket risers that you installed into the chassis for the high side of the air box's mounting bracket frame? I don't see them included in any pics or description of this same kit from any retailer. If not in the kit, do you have links or description to that/those parts?

Most retailer websites are telling me that this model doesn't fit my vehicle, but your install video tells me otherwise--I will just need to use a different turbo inlet tube (I don't have a MAF) and the heat shield may require minor customization. I fitted this after the map mate so can't compare but a friend of mine who is mapped aswell couldn't keep up on the top end so definitely helps the engine breathe

No it won't fit yours they stopped fitting this engine into tt in 2009-2010 so your engine will be different

@@MrRichards44 no mate as the existing cover is also the air filter box but you can retro fit a tts cover on with some custom fixings that some companies do

yes mate the tts engine cover works as its a ea113 engine as well but i think you need to change some fixing positions I have just left mine off

These are the lights that the car came with from the factory how come you can't get them in the US?

@@CarChris82 I think he is referring to the internal bulb housings of your particular headlight units--behind the lens they appear to be darker-clad/black components and accents where ours only/mostly come with silver/chrome looking ones.

@@scgray05 yeah these are how it came from the factory I've not modded them I even had to replace one light and went to Audi to get a replacement these are stock i didn't know they were different to US SPEC

Thats strange many people have fitted without problems I've fitted 4 one on mine and 3 on other peoples cars with no eml light on after,have you plugged the maf back in ? What codes you getting and might be worth checking its all fitted correctly and clamps all done up 👍🏻

What is the dimension of the air filter that comes with the kit? I'm looking at going with the PRORAM version of their filter instead of the foam filter. Their website doesn't indicate the pipe size. Thanks!
