BANG!!!! The spring explodes. I would not wind a spring like this because there is the possibility that the spring could break (which i have seen them do) or the zip tie could let go (which they are likely to) and when that happens the spring will blow outward as it unwinds with extreme force causing serious injury and possibly a trip to the hospital. Get a spring winder and proper mainspring clamps to restrain the mainspring with. Be safe man.

I understand your need. To the best of my knowledge, there is no company currently in existence that manufactures these vintage watch spare parts or manufactures and sells these watch machines. But one of the solutions is that if there is a shop in your residential area or near you where old fashioned items are bought or old fashioned items are scrapped then spare parts and springs of this watch can be found there.

Does the watch have a system of hanging weight on the main spring? I am not aware and I have not seen this system in any watch. With the watch movement there is only a pendulum at the bottom which counts the seconds in the watch and the watch works to show the time.
