Hi Doug. Thanks for the comment. 1) We stock spares for all sizes so please get in touch at sales@tecni.uk with your requirements. 2) When installed correctly we can confirm that the swage terminal would be more efficient/stronger. Thanks!

Show us how the cable bangs! What is more robust? pressed or mechanically assembled? What about swageing with a progressive round die?

Hi. Thanks for the comment. Swage fittings will have a higher breaking load and are easier to assemble / tamper proof, however, for DIY installations these are a great alternative which are very strong when correctly assembled. Progressive round swaging also works the same as the Hexagon swaging so long as the correct after swage dimensions are met (After swage dimensions of round swaging is different to the across flats on a hex swage). Thanks for your feedback.

What fields or industries or applications is this used for?

Hi Luis. Thanks for the comment. Stainless Steel Swageless Eye Fittings are ideal for site work and applications where a professional swaging tool would normally be required. Swage eye terminals are very strong wire rope fittings which can be easily crimped on site using one of our hydraulic swaging tools or fitted in our factory. These fittings can be used in a range of industries/applications. They are very popular in marine environments e.g Yacht Rigging but can be used in wide range of applications such as cable bracing, architectural, structural tensioning, display applications and many more. If you have any more questions please feel free to contact sales@tecni.uk who will be able to assist with any enquiries or visit our website www.tecni.uk. Thanks!
