Today i show you how to fit the standard 7" Lucas Type head lights to your classic car, these are common on MG, Morris, Trriumph and a number of other cars. also highlight some of the problems you can get with "new" parts

Thanks for another brilliant video. I've been considering changing the sealed beam units on my Minor for a while now and this has given me some confidence in being able to do the job.

@@kgcclassics3211 I will do thanks. I replaced the diff oil seal after watching your video on that and it went perfectly without a hitch. The headlights look even easier :)

Good video, headlight bucket on the Moni is usually fitted with screws the same as the MG and the Moggy Minor.

Thanks for this,it was very useful ,I’ve had these lighting kits a while ,not sure how they went together as I took car apart many years ago ! I’m well on my way through restoring a mk3 spitfire I’ve had 50 yrs ,so I’ve been doing other things in between, now I can proceed with this it’s another job off the list!many thanks! Can I ask where you bought the spring clip?

Brilliant video, I'm just about to do this job on my classic MK3 mini. Unsure about a few things though. I currently have a sealed beam which I want to replace for a H4 Wipac setup. Where is the sidelight though? Is it within the bulb? Also where did you buy all the parts from?

depending on which light fitting you get some will come with a Pilot Bulb which will act as your side light, i get most of my parts from Moss or Rimmer Bros
