I'm not running custom Rom but I'm having problems with my 4g data connection if I place it some were I should get a 4g signal it only stays on h+ and does not auto connect to 4g until I turn aeroplane mode off then back on. Any ideas how to fix this do I need to root then custom Rom to fix ?

h+ is hspa+ which is 4g

I downloaded a rom and this happened to me, the only difference is that in some rare cases, even when u save an APN preset, it will still show nothing there and it will say that you have no access to view APN settings. I just went and flashed back to a stock rom, unrooted.
