How to fix a BitLocker recovery in Dell Laptop

I was in a big trouble when I formatted my C drive (system drive) and my other drives like D, E and F were locked by bitlocker and I didn't know the recovery key. After some trial and error, I finally was able to unlock those drive without losing the data. Here is how you can also unlock your drives: (You need to have a dell laptop) -Restart system and enter a BIOS mode (Keep pressing F12 if you are a dell user. For other manufacturers, key might get differ). -After entering BIOS, you will see an option called 'SupportAssist OS Recovery' and press enter. -Choose option RESET (This will re-install the factory operation system that came with the system when you had bought it) -After choosing RESET, you will see 2 options: Reset to factory setting and Reset and update. -Choose Reset to factory setting (You might want to take back up of your C drive if there are any important files stored on your desktop, documents, downloads, etc. because this will format your C drive (where windows is installed) and will re-install the factory OS.) -It will take 15-20 mins and you are done! -You will be asked setup your system (like new). -Once it is done, you will see that your locked drives have been unlocked successfully and data is still there in the drives as you left. THIS IS HOW IT WORKED FOR ME. I'M POSTING THIS IN ORDER TO HELP SOMEONE WHO IS FACING THE SIMILAR ISSUE.

Followed most of the steps however, while I clicked the security tab on my dell laptop, it shows TPM 2.0 Securtiy instead of PTT security. And there's a whole list of options on the screen instead of just PTT On

Got the same bios as you, you also need to select "enable" at bottom of the page. Now it's not asking for a recovery at start anymore

Finally, I followed exact the step on this video showed computer Dell , except between video run :35 to :40 ~ notice "continue" in rectangle, you need to click/press "Esc" then proceed and wait observe. I use a Dell 7573 Inspiron laptop. I am able to login and access it there as before. Websites may be closed, click again like Edge or Chrome browsers to "Restore" Your computer may be a little different to the setting system above the video showed, so do your research and be very careful! Good Luck!
