How to fix a broken leaky faucet Moen (moen warranty)

Thank you, Thank you. This may be 8 yrs old but it was exactly what I needed. The “picture” instructions that come with the replacement parts made no sense to me. Especially using the square tool to loosen the cartridge. You gave clear, concise instructions. I called Moen and they sent me all the parts for free. Their warranty is definitely the best.

Congratulations !!! Very informative and helpful, I have the same faucet and I would like to know if that faucet is a lifetime warranty or should I have to buy the parts on my own, and if you could help me, where did you buy the part # 1225 B to change it in your faucet... thanks in advance !!!

SERGIO ROMERO Oh I don’t know if it’s a lifetime warrantee one or not to be honest with you, I just went out and bought mine to make the repair and I’m pretty sure I bought them on Amazon.

What are the black pieces called? Specifically the smaller one

I’m not sure specifically which ones you’re talking about but if it’s the round ones on the cylinder those are black rubber O-rings

I replaced cartridge a few times but cold water still leaks thru faucet,what do do next...thanx
