Yep, I have a nail that grows downward, 3 nails that once they reach a certain length a spot in the side kinda bends in like a wave, and a couple nails that twist as they grow out. My claw one is the pointer on my left hand too, we’re nail twins!

May I ask if the ceramic bit you’re using to finish file is extra fine, fine, or medium grit? Also if I’ll be needing to use it with my left hand on my right index finger, do you have a favorite brand of ceramic bit for this part that can work both directions? Thank you 💖🙏🏼💖🙏🏼💖🙏🏼💖

Hi! Sorry I’m not too well versed on the lefty’s conversation of using an efile. Part of the reason is my brain! I find it hard to interchange the info…. Either way! Fine or med on the grit of the ceramic, but if you’re going all the way to the natural nail an extra fine would help.

You make it looks so effortless! Looks beautiful Three questions: If the tacky uncured layer that is on the surface after curing, is left there before adding color or glossy top coat, does it affect anything or should we get into the habit of wiping it off with alcohol? Do you use acetone to clean your brushes after using the gel products? When should we use a base (use it with excel builder, with color)?

They all are so similar. I really do not prefer one at this time. I just rotate my stuff, since I hardly use it. (Just for me and trainings).

I hear a lot about keeping uncured gel off the skin to prevent allergies. Is there any concern about the gel that touches the skin at the inside corners of the form though, where the natural nail has been filed in but the form doesn't fully cover the skin? Thanks so much for all your videos! I've recently ordered Kokoist products to hopefully provide a healthier nail care option for myself and my mom than going to a salon where they pry old gel off *shudder*

Hi Marliese! Yes, keeping gel off of the skin is always a priority. If someone is allergic to a known ingredient in the particular gel they use, I would definitely avoid this. However, extensions were a service, clients of mine got 1-3x times per year and therefore based on the overexposure principle this would not be enough times for them to have an allergic reaction, I believe.
