I have a Bosch silence plus and these instructions are pretty darn close for it. Replacing was easy. Thanks for the instructions!

That dishwasher looks new! My dishwasher is over 20 years old, and I only had to replace two parts!! Wow!!!😮

Such a great video, but my Bosch DW (2 yrs old) has a bottom. Ugh.
@DIYPowerCouple3 ай бұрын
The bottom has screws that should be removed.

Great video. I'm going to try this repair myself. I have the same model as you show in the video. Do you have a link to the part you used? Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

Drew, no link🔗 yet. Let us know how it turns out for you...and thanks for watching. 😀

@DIY Power Couple I was able to pick up the motor from appliancepartpros for $150. It showed up yesterday and following your video I had it installed in a couple of hours. Took me a bit longer because my builder hard wired the electrical. One thing I did skip was taking the door off. Turns out that wasn't necessary. Long story short, the dishwasher is working like new and my wife is very pleased. Thanks for your awesome video.

Is it necessary to remove the Dishwasher door?
@DIYPowerCouple2 ай бұрын
It was on this model. Trust me, I wish it wasn't necessary.

On my Bosch dishwasher. No need to remove the sump. Once you can pull the dishwasher out, either lay on side or back. Remove wire connections and twist off pump. My pump had original good old crimp clamp but was able to reuse it.

How did you confirm it was the pump to be replaced?
@kellychevallier46394 ай бұрын
Because your dishes aren't getting washed. Usually there will be no noise because the pump is dead.
@davidjkeyser Жыл бұрын
why do you have to take the door apart? You are putting it on it's back so you have access to the pump. Why does the door have to come apart?

I was wondering 🤔 the same thing. It's like a puzzle 🧩 where all of the pieces have to be removed in order. Actually, it's more like a rubik's cube.

I am wondering the same thing, still doesn't make sense. Nonetheless, thank you so much for this video, was very helpful!!!!

That’s a brand new dishwasher. No warranty? What happened?

A lot happend...but hey...we got to create another video out of it.

No reason to remove the front door panel. This guy is one of those techs that take 2 hrs to repair something that should’ve only taken 20min. And yes I own an appliance repair company.

then why are you here hmm? $100000 you are full of it.

I still can't figure out why the door cover is removed. I've watched two other videos that do the same. It doesn't seem to make sense to remove the door.

You should have titled the video how to replace the pump you did not fix the pump
@0utcast8 ай бұрын
what an asshole comment. fixing the circulation pump is exactly what he did by replacing it. when your car goes into the shop to be fixed most of the time unless they are machining engine internals consists of replacing worn parts NOT breaking things down and rebuilding them. fixing engine cylinder compression leaks involved replacing pistons, rings, or maybe even putting in cylinder sleeves. lemme guess for body work you would do bondo and spaghetti or bondo/towel DIY hacks instead of a real repair which would involve replacement...

You let us know, @paulb9769, when you find the video that shows how to take apart that little plastic part and "fix' it.

that's not "fix" that's a "replace"

"Here's a tip....." He's not dealing with phillips fasteners. So phillips screwdriver, "normal" or otherwise would be useless.
