I like all of your videos and appreciate you taking the time to make them. I can tell you enjoy teaching like I do. That being said it's important and often critical to teach accurately. Aside from what other commenters pointed out about the drain hose position and GFCI/separate circuit it's also important to note that compression fittings should not have Teflon tape applied. It's also important to ensure the dishwasher is level by adjusting the feet as necessary. Great video otherwise!

What about drain line back flush. Didnt mention air gap verse hanging drain line up on J hook on sink.

Agreed. He didn't mention that the drain line MUST stay high in the receiving cabinet. It can't sit on the floor and be routed upwards to the drain nipple. Also, the dishwasher receptacle must be on its own circuit - at least by code where I live. That one probably is but he still needs to point that out. Great video 👍!

Use a side mount bracket to connect laterally to the cabinet. If the dishwasher doesn't come with a side mount option, retrofit kits are available.
