So when you blend, you have to sand off the clear in the areas? A tack cloth is used before base goes down and clear?

You don't need to remove the clear, just sand it so the new clear adheres properly. Use the tack cloth before base and before you clear. Make sure you base is smooth before tacking it off. Thanks for watching!

What grade sand paper would you recommend or scotch pads on matalic for the blending area ? also guid coat which is more better spray or powder? And a great video very informative thank you garage noise

I use 600 to prepare a panel for blend. I perfer Aerosol guide coat but that's my personal preference. Thank for the comment!

New subber.. haaa.. hey so im gonna primer my 51 chevy pick-up I 180 the whole truck & I was gonna gonna use a slick sand (high build primer) will this high build hide the 180.. or do I still gotta go to 320 or straight to a 400 wet sand.. please lemme know.. .. appreciate you & your channel.

Thanks for the comment, it's been awhile since I've used that primer. Each primer has different recommendations. I would look up the technical data sheet to see what that is. Technically you should be abe to fill 180 scratches with 2k primer and not have an issue. Personally I would not take any chances and sand it with 320. Unless you sanded it to bare metal?
