How do you like the Dissector as a front tire? I was thinking of running the same setup you have(Rekon rear, Dissector front) for riding here in the Dallas area(dry, hardpack, some loose over hard).

If you have the right type of soil, aka damp and lots of traction it's fast and great! not so good in loose-over-hard pack.

Would be good to see how to use the tubeless plugs - I can never get those right 😂

Thanks check out our Stan's DART video as we go pretty in-depth on how to use it there!

Why start removing the tire (with tire levers) opposite to the valve? The tirebead wont sit in the middle of the rim at the valve, not giving you the most slack possible to get the first bit of tire off the rim. I had cases where that little bit of extra slack was required to get almost new tires off without breaking levers. You obviously have to take care that you dont damage your valve, but that just follows the general „dont do dumb stuff“ advice and can easily be done by placing the first leaver not directly where your valve is and work your way away from the valve with your second lever. Its the other way arround to get a tire on when it gets tight: the last bit that requires force should be at the valve. I havent destroyed any valves doing it that way so far, please let me know if there are other reasons to do it in a different way. Thanks

Thanks for writing in Heaper. It's an old habit from back when everyone used inner tubes. And because lots of people still use inner tubes, this is the default way we share removal because you're less likely to cut the tube, tube's valve stem and if you break the bead off the rim opposite the valve stem, you'll still have plenty of slack to get a lever underneath. Similarly, that's why we install at the valve stem first, if you have an inner tube, you don't want the rest of the tire bead installed, making it very hard to have to force the valve stem at an angle into the valve hole and possible cut it on the rim. Of course, you can change the flat many ways, this is just our way. Thanks for sharing.

Flat tires are the menace of riding

I have to disagree on the goop product, none of those work, no matter the make and model, the issue I reckon is the lack of any particles, it's just straight latex, you cannot have any particles becau of the size of the can exit hole.
