Another epic video!!! This is one of those tricks that can save the day. I recently got some high reviewed yet affordable tactical Velcro first aid tourniquets from Amazon & tried this tire trick with one of the tourniquets (3 pack) & it worked !!! Obviously the velcro tourniquet won't work if the tire is too big but for medium-small to small tires give it a try! Lots of vids on how the velcro tourniquets work.

The old "improvised tourniquet" trick. Brilliance in simplicity.

Can also use a ratchet strap...or the good old starting fluid.

On the larger tires I’d have some success with ratchet straps 🎉

It might use a ratchet strap instead of a piece of rope in a screwdriver

An endless ratchet strap works great

Why are you trying to get the bead on the rim when you have a tube in it?
@grampasmurf47612 ай бұрын
You could use the Ryobi 18v. air compressor !

“How to fix a flat tire with a screwdriver….and a rope….oh and an air compressor….and of course the hose that comes with it and maybe a tire filling attachment if that wasn’t included.” I fixed the title for you and I think Steve Martin would approve too. 😂

Wouldn't some aerosol spray like brake cleaner sprayed into the tire and a little flame also work to quickly get a bead? I've seen them do this many times online.

This a tube tire"""" You need to fix the tube or else it will go flat again. If it was tubeless you should spray the edge of the wheel rim and tire with soap to act like a seal and make the rubber stick to the wheel. This is an OLD SCHOOL TRICK . You need a hands free mic so you can use both hands, you do have both hands don't you? :)

I mean, yeah, ok... But isn't it more fun to grab a can of something flamable and a lighter to pop the tire back on?
@meagaindave20492 ай бұрын
Right? Was gonna say a rope and a screwdriver? So much for my starting fluid and a long reach lighter. 🤷♂️😂

WTF! This is not a tubeless tire, in which this technique would work. This tire has a tube so just put air in it already and quit messing around. I think it would be better to patch the tube first though, so the air you put in the tire will stay in the tire.

What you talking about. No tube in this dude 🙄
@tomdenny85072 ай бұрын
@@ToolReviewZone If I'm wrong I apologize but watching the valve stem move around when you manipulate the tire ( 30 to 35 seconds into the video) sure makes it look like the valve stem is connected to a tube inside that tire. I have never seen a tubeless tire valve stem loose like that (that wasn't attached to the wheel) hold air pressure. So, not trying to be a troll (though I admit I sound like one) it just really looks to me like there was a tube inside that tire.

Do the same thing with a ratchet strap on bigger tires
