I have been watching ebike videos for a little more than a year now. I think this is first time I have seen someone putting Flat Out in a bike.. When I get an ebike this will help me out. I think their website says 10.4oz for 20x4in tires. I had to check before I put flatout in my tires. I think the formula for how much to use is tire diameter x width x .13. (20x4x.13=10.4oz) . Too much might make the tire off balance when it all settles to the bottom after the bike has been sitting for a while.

So I'm a little confused here, is Flat Out more of a prevention tool to discourage flats from occurring in the first place, or is it more like a mergency quick fix until you can properly fix the flat at a later date ? (multiple you tube video demonstration's from different youtuber's are only making the answer to this question harder to find, not easier)

You can fix a flat on the run if you have a valve stem removal tool and 16 ozs of flat out with you. (20 inch fat tires). I put flat out in all bikes now when I get them in as a preventative measure to avoid a flat tire. Easy Peasy. I hope this helps.

Does the valve stem removal tool, only apply to certain tire styles or brands, or is that going to apply to like 99% of all Fat Tires from 20X4 all the way to 26X4 ??@@seniorebikeadventures

Interesting you're using 16 ounces on a single 20x4 inch tire. In some other videos it was 16 ounces per tire for a 26x4". A third video I saw recommended 10oz per tire for 20x4" tires. Now I'm just confused lol.

I prefer using 12-16 ozs on a 20x4 inch fat tire

I have to give you my input. NEVER use Flat tire crap. It ruins your rim inside. It welds the tire to the rim in many cases...and when you really have to change the tire you ae screwed.
