We just started using our gyro today for the first time, and this was very helpful! It turns out, the kids *always* turn it on while holding the robot...

Hello, I have a straight line and a turn with the gyro sensor and if I try them separately they work but if I try them together it does all kinds of weird things, do you know why it might be?

Just make sure it’s on a flat surface and don’t touch it in the startup process that should do it

This is called hot wiring and this will spoil the sensor if this keeps on happening, the other sensor-friendly solution is that you could add a piece of code in front of every program that recalibrates the gyro. Here's the link to a pic of the gyro recalibration code - docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vTGL2QDsv6M1dT9zw3CXQESiP60Uy5UZm2Xcp4Mo-YkhDHqjs9DX9jME1cux5bE7Tsa-MXeQd3b3Eg0/pub?start=false&loop=false&delayms=3000
