That's what I did. I have a very old faucet, but I like it, so I didn't want to replace it. The girl walked me through taking a photo and sending it on my smartphone (cause I didn't know the model number), and she matched it up. Sent the parts for free, and they arrived in less than a week. Thanks to this video, I'll be changing it tomorrow. I'll never buy anything but Delta faucets again!

Customer service walked me through finding the model # via a picture. Parts on the way. Thanks for the info and number.

Anyone know the model # of this faucet by chance?

Perfect advice from Farm Dad & Ray... I called the p# on a Saurday, got a rep quickly, sent a picture, and they're mailing the replacement parts within a week. Agreed with Bonnie, after this 12/10 customer service experience I'm sold on Delta faucets forever. Take the opportunity to resolve any other issues you may have (e.g. my blue/red indicator dot had come off)... I also went ahead and requested the white plastic bracket that looks like a castle tower since it feels a little brittle & I'll need to put this back together, take it apart again when the replacement parts arrive, and put it back together again.

Thanks for the great step by step instructions. I called them today and they identified my faucet and have my replacement parts on the way! There were over 70 people in front of me, they offered a call back and I got it within the half hour.

Excellent video and information from commenters. I called Delta with the number provided and got a helpful person on the phone immediately. I gave her the model and part number and was told the o rings would be received in the mail in 4 - 8 days.

Excellent! Thank you! I went to Lowe’s and got universal O rings. I brought the old O rings with me to match the size. Faucet work’s beautifully again :)

Because of your video, I finally knocked a years old "Honey do" off the list. Had trouble finding the right O ring at Home Depot and Lowes, but I went to Harbor Freight and bought metric assortment case (like you did) and I was all set. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the video!! Close enough to my model to be helpful. I didn't have a leak, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to swivel, so I really had to work on pulling the spout up. A little plumbers grease and now it's like new. Now that I know how to disassemble/assemble, I'll probably replace the O-rings anyway.

Wondered how that came apart, so glad I don't have to crawl under the sink. Working on getting O rings from Delta. Thx for video and you can embarrass your kids with it when they get older :-)

Worked like a charm! Thanks again for a fine demo. My local Ace store had the needed O-rings. If you decided to re-make it without the children, may I suggest one improvement: at about the 2:30 point, you might show the importance of seating the white nylon gizmo correctly with its lip and notches in their proper places. Without that, the whole gooseneck spout will rise up when the faucet is opened, and create a flood. Spectacular, but not too functional :-)

I'll forgive your fussy kids because that's what fussy kids do. Not so sure though that I'll forgive you, for allowing fussy kids to stay in mic range. On second thoughts though, I will. Your spout is just the same as my model and I've been looking all over for a how-to. Not even Delta shows that design on their multiple pages of pictures. Good demo!

This is my exact faucet. They sent me the new o rings etc for the mixer a few years back for free. Since then I lost my manual. Did you get a specific repair kit for this? Do you know what model this is?

It looks like I have the exact same faucet and the exact same problem. How did you find the right size of the O-rings? Did you get them from Home Depot (etc) or go back to Delta?
@FarmDad7 жыл бұрын
+Michael Irvin I actually had a kit from Harbor Freight that had assorted sizes, but you should be able to take your old gasket to Home Depot and find a match.

Thanks! I think I will do that...
