Kohler Kitchen Faucet Leak Fix - DIY Catridge & O-Ring Change

Kohler customer service was very helpful. They warrantied my 12 yr old faucet. The sticker was on the cold line underneath. Now I just have to get the top ring off. I'm letting it soak in PB blaster. Also while I waited, I wrapped a paper towel around the base and let it hang into the sink so the paper towel drips into the sink.

THANK YOU !!! I have the exact same faucet and wasn't sure I was removing it correctly because everything is "fused" together from the calcified water making it difficult to loosen. But it's coming along now. Thanks again.

I used two flat head screwdrivers on each side of the handle to pry up with the shafts of the screwdrivers. Also the little pill that comes with the cartridge is silicone grease. I used my own and didn't realize what it was until after. The ring is plastic so be careful. Mine was on tight and scratched it. Now that I know it's very shallow and not metal I might have tried harder not to scratch it. I will call Kohler to see if they have a new one. Kohler warrantied the cartridge and sprayer. The model and date should be on the cold line underneath the sink. Good luck.

Koehler is lifetime warranty you don’t need to buy parts call them and they will give you everything you need. I have the exact same faucet you do and I have gotten everything for it for free.
