Today I want to show you a quick stretch you can do when a charley horse strikes!
Normally, we voluntarily move our arm, leg and other muscles to contract and relax as we walk or move around. When a muscle cramp occurs though, the muscle is involuntarily contracting and not relaxing, causing pain and discomfort. Sometimes you might bend your leg or move your foot in a certain way, or you may even be drifting off to sleep and you’re hit with a painful, tight feeling in your muscles that makes it hard to move.
