How to Fix A Printer That Wont Print
If your having trouble with your HP, Brother, Dell, Lexmark, Samsung, Hewlett Packard, Panasonic,
Xerox, Epson, Toshiba or Canon printer and it's not able to the printer even when the printer is powered on, then this video could be for you. I will show you step by step guide on how to fix your printer.
1. Check the ink cartridges aren’t empty.
2. Run Printer Troubleshoot.
3. Replace the cartridges.
4. Install printer driver again.
5. Paper jams are a fairly common problem with printers.
6. Clean or Flush Nozzles on inkjet printer heads they might be blocked.
7. Clean the print heads
8. Run a full maintenance clean on the printer.
9. Check USB cable.
10. Check to see if the printer is the default printer.
11. Is the printer compatible with the Window's version you are using?
12. Check to see if the USB cable is plugged into the right USB port. (ie: if its 2.0 USB make sure it's not plugged into USB 3.0 it may not be compatible)
13. Clear printer job list.
14. Bad Cable.
15. Driver Problems or Corrupt Driver
16. Paper tray not closed or open cover.

Help, anyone knows why that when I print a page from PageMaker 7.0 my HP M603 LaserJet printer keep printing so many pages (about 20) blanks with a line of some wording on the edge of the page but not the actual page that I send to printer, I send it again than it prints the actual page, but when I send it again it does print again about 20 blank pages any help will be appreciate it. I'm using windows 7 professional. Thank you.

I did most of the things you suggested in the video but it still doesn't work. When I run the troubleshooter it says that the printer "cannot be contacted over the network" and I need to "Contact the network administrator". How exactly should I proceed?

I had this problem with a Canon Printer. I had to do a deep clean at least three times to make sure it worked....and it did.

All well and good until step one where you have to see it running. Mine just says "Started" and won't say running even if i stop and restart the service. This isn't helpful unless you tell us how to get it to say running.

The only way to fix it is to reinstall your cd and go back through the same bs typing in wifi passwords and going back through the same stuff those MX922 give me the worse aggravations they print good quality prints but it sucks giving errors all the time and it says its printing its garbage having to do that.

You forgot to mention wifi and Bluetooth printers which on occasion play up. No connection between pc and printer because of wifi not working on either machine.

That is correct, WiFi can be a issue, just plug in a USB and troubleshoot from there.

Really? I've only ever struggled with a diver once on linux (for wi-fi) and I found a work around using ndis wrapper. I've yet to find a printer that did not have a driver. In contrast, I've spent many hours trying to track down drivers on Windows.

Not really. Not always. Sometimes these damn printers act up on the penguin side as well and troubleshooting isn't a breeze. I've had good experiences with Canon printers on Ubuntu/Mint but the occasional glitch can happen. Epson can be problematic too sometimes. And that goes for Mac as well. It all comes down to the particular printer-system combination... and star alignment:))
