How to Fix a Stripped Leaking Oil Drain Bolt | Polaris Sportsman 570 Build

In the video i show you how I fixed the stripped Drain bolt on the Sportsman 570. It was kind of a challenge for me as i've never done anything like it before but in the end it worked out! I would recommend if you've never done anything like this to do alot of research! I will have all the links for the sites ive used and products ive used down below if possible. Thanks

Bro! I have a TRX 300 Honda four Trax I have the exact I mean the exact same problem so if you could just give me a list of exactly what you bought and where you bought it, I’m definitely subbed and like!! And from what I can see the bolt is the exact same size Mom is the 17 mm and it’s 20 by half on the new one and the tap. I mean it’s crazy that Polaris and Honda have the same size bolt thread lineup all that that’s nuts

@@AthenasGarageOffical sorry to bother you again, brother, but what size was your factory oil plug -17 mm so if you could tell me what yours was that would help me a lot because I can’t remember if it is 12 or 17

Mine was a torx bit it was like a t40 I think it. Unless your talking about the new one

@@AthenasGarageOffical I thought your drain plug on your Polaris was a 12 or 17 mm the drain plug for the oil pan. And if so, my TRX 300 has a 17 mm bolt for the oil pan and I’ve stripped it out . Actually I stripped out the threads in the oil pan basically the same thing you did with the Polaris and when I watched your Polaris video I thought you said that it was a 17 mm and then you went to 1/2” x 20

The 570 in the Sportsman application has an oil pan. An easy fix, pull the engine and pull the pan. Thanks.

Pulling the engine would suck to just change the pan, I wouldn't say that's an easy fix, what I did Is most definitely easier than pulling the entire engine out
