Thank you very much for this video. I have been trying to remove Comodo from my Laptop for months, nothing would remove it includeing Revo etc. It appeared that somehow the Uninstall file was missing no matter what i tried it would not uninstall. Now this video did it for me, thank you ever so much Brian, this maybe 4 years old but it worked.

@@isaacm3054 Try to download a file killer like "lockhunter" for example. Then right click on the "evil" file, and select analyse with lockhunter. Then you can delete the file, or if it still doesn't work, delete the file on restart.

@Igorica Prokucije it will give you access to your folders, but do not format the disc or you will loose everything. Maybe you can install windows in a different disc drive. Or you can take away the disc and plug it in a different computer

I have a single folder with many files that will not stay ope. Double clicking or clicking on open option causes it to open very briefly, but then screen will quickly flash and immediately go back to desktop display, while folder contents will not become accessible and folder refuses to completely stay open at all. Also, same problem if copy and move to any other location and changing folder name does not correct issue either, As well, if right click for folder properties, same thing happens . . . closes and goes back to desktop display. Have also reinstalled Windows 10 with all updates . . . still not fixed. HELP, PLEASE ??????

if l take ownership of system image will it still be usable by the startup repair disk, why l ask its properties says its zero bytes but l cant see if there is any files in it access denied but l am sure there is as the drive has 80 gb less and l only have 2 system image files there

I'm so aggravated. I have about ten different folders of photos and documents. After Microsoft forced me to change to Windows 11 (it downloaded automatically. It wouldn't let me go on unless I installed it. Instead, I forced a shutdown and called Microsoft to complain. They gave me a link for a download to keep 10 on my computer. But the next time I turned on my computer on, 11 was fully installed. It was some time after that that I could not get my files to open, and I could not upload any photos to Facebook either). So I just tried these techniques to go into Security and change permissions. I was successful with about half of the folders. But the other half opened, but the icons did not open, and when I clicked on the icons it was all "INVALID IMAGE". I don't know what I did wrong. It seemed like I got to a part where it was different, and it said I made a mistake in not listing something. I don't know what to do. I have back up, but I'm afraid they'll all just download again instead of just the ones that are messed up. And I don't want to delete the ones that are OK. It took forever to make up all the different folders into categories, and I know they'll just be a big mess again. The worst one was scans of many important documents.

Good lord I have been trying to setup 7 zip for 9 hours now just to be able to have access to mods and I havent been able to find a single useful video on the matter. And no matter what method I use I just cannot get 7 zip to stop telling me access denied.
