I had the black screen after firetv logo disappeared. I disconnected the firestick from the HDMI port and power Supply for about 5 min. I also unplugged the tv and accidentally rebooted my modem by disconnecting its power too. Plugged everything back in after modem rebooted and it FINALLY WORKS. Setup process is working as it should.

Method 3 did it!!! After jumping through hoops with the Fire TV stick, all it took was leaving the tv on, unplugging it and holding the power button DOWN on the Fire TV remote for 30 seconds. Plugged the tv back in and the Fire TV home page came right up. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!

Okay, On my firestick when I go to subscriptions and click on it everything is black. Will not Livestream from subscriptions or play anything on any channel from subscriptions, but will if I search.
