As mentioned in a few comments, this is the best KZbin video if you are actually replacing the gas cap housing on a Ford F-150 2001-2006. Pay close attention to the tabs you have to unclip. the angles in which you take the housing out and put back in. I found it easiest to just watch a segment or portion of the video, go out and do it and then come back and watch it again if things aren't working. Great job Fixer. Thanks.

Will, if you’re looking for the link to the part, it is in the description of the video. On mobile you have to hit the down arrow under the video to see the description. On desktop, there is probably a “read more” button.

Is is still attached and just broken off? If so, maybe you could epoxy it on. If not, you may have to try to find one at a junkyard that’s the same color, or eBay, or try to buy a new one somewhere.

@@IAmAFixer I was going to ask, what exactly is breaking? I've got a loose cover too and I was wondering if you *have* to replace it or if there is a way to just repair the clip or whatever.
@IAmAFixer5 жыл бұрын
@@brianmolina4305 I haven't figured out a way to do it easily yet. There is a metal click attached to a plastic piece. The plastic piece snaps off. It would be difficult to repair.
