i followed and tried everything you said but i bought my fire stick and everything was downloaded for me to buy , my app that wasn't working , wouldn't open the channels was the swift streamz app . I unistalled it and then ,i didn't know who to go to for reinstallation as i didn't download the app to begin with , so it was a great video , you were very helpful learnt alot more information ,that i did n't know before .Just wondering do i now have to go back to the person whom i bought it off to install again or would you be able to give me some advice.?

Thank you for the explanation. My case is different tho. I transferred an app from my phone to fire tv but I am having a difficulty in logging into the app. I can only type in my email address, the tab for password opens but doesn't work

I can only assume the app might not be compatible with the firestick, you could try installing Mousetoggle and see if you can some how use that to select the password field to enter your password.

Hi Chris can you try to install magic sing karaoke on your firestick? I've been struggling to make this app work on my device. I already installed it but the thing is it keeps popping up that I need to enable permissions to make the app work, but I already allow all permission and still giving me the same popup forcing me to exit the app. Btw I installed it from downloader not on the amazon appstore

Unfortunately if you didn’t install from the Amazon App Store then it may not be designed to work with the firestick that could be why you are getting this message, if you can find out the developer you could try and contact them and ask if they are planning a firestick version of the app.

It may help if you clear the data and cache on Downloader, if its still not working then there could be an issue with the address you are trying to download from.

I have tried everything you have said to open paramount plus on my fire tv. Every time I go to open it it starts to load and then it comes up with “we are currently experiencing some technical difficulties. Hi! The Paramount+ app won't work on my firestick. It opens fine but then a message appears that reads "We are experiencing some technical difficulties..." I could never ever properly open the app and log in. I tried uninstalling, clearing data and cache (though there was nothing to clear since I could never log in). I don't know what to do. Currently I am watching Paramount+ using the silk browser and requesting desktop sites but I would much prefer to use the app. Works just fine on my cell and on an android TV. Problem seems to be on my firestick. Do you know how I could probably fix this? The Paramount help website suggested doing a factory reset on my stick but that seems extreme. Also, I would have to reconfigure everything again (ugh!) and there's no guarantee that the app would even work. Any suggestions? Many thanks.

Try restarting your Firestick go to settings and then My Fire TV then Restart, see if that helps, also if you have an older firestick like a Gen 1 or 2 then it may not be powerful enough.

I have a question about tap tv app. It was buffering so I followed another KZbinrs advice, saying we have to force stop all background apps to stop the buffering. I did this and left the one I was using (tap tv) open . But when I went to try it , it just had a blank screen. I re started it, reinstalled it, but it still didn’t work. I can’t help but think i should of never Of followed his advice! In the end I just uninstalled it. I can’t find any videos on how to fix it. Do you think if i reinstall and try these steps it would work?

I am not sure about that app but its certainly worth a try, quite a few of the Free apps do buffer, simply because the server is overloaded. You could try reinstalling the app then clear the Cache and Data then uninstall it then re-start your Firestick then reinstall it.

For me, my live tv guide no longer shows Freevee. I tried adding it to the guide several times and nothing worked. Yes, I have Freevee downloaded, it just doesn't show up in the Firestick Live TV Guide. Every time I try to add it to the guide, the app just opens up.

Well great video but unfortunately (of course), I’m the odd one and nothing helped me. It’s a new app for me. Downloaded it. Press open and it just brings me back to the Home Screen.
