Yes you are right back in the day those vans with the 3.3 and 3.8 Liter engines had a known problem for that Injector Wiring Harness to "Melt" against the exhaust and you can't see it due to the wiring cover and when the power wires short to ground it fries the Injector Driver in the PCM which ever one it shorts out

Wow! It really purrs there Mad Mike. The fact that you have gotten all this work done for cheap lets me know, how I can save money on working on my own car. Also you said that the harness is close to the exhaust manifold. Have you thought about wrapping the wire harness in a exhaust tape wrap like DEI? Thanks for all you do, I am truly learning a lot on this episode. I have also learned from you in the past keep up the amazing work Mad Mike 😊

I've been lucky w fuel injection: Always use Top Tier fuel, and never rev engine just before turning off, like I see some folks doing. Also, avoid short trips where engine does not get to full operating temperature. Finally, after warmup, at least one or two wide open throttle periods every trip.

When Fiat bought Dodge / Chrysler and later merged with Stellantis the quality went to crap especially Jeeps. Because of this I will never buy another Dodge / Chrysler / Jeep product!

That's a huge difference. Bet if it sounded like that when you got it, you would have had a pretty stress free drive getting back.
