@@ooratI finally got it to start last night after methodically deleting things. 5e spells was causing crashes. Different kind of crashes but basically it was never letting me get past the start screen. Once I removed it, my game finally took me to that first cut scene. It’s either that or the fact improve ui needs to be first in the load order.

Feeling bad seeing that I seem to be the only one who used Vortex instead of BGMM. I hope this all works for Vortex too. Although, sadly several of my fav mods are outdated and probably wont work again. Also, I'm noticing that pretty much none of the Character Faces mods seem to be added to the in-game mod lists. Are they just rejecting them? I kinda liked having a younger jaheira.

I'm having an issue recently where the In Game Manager disables all of my mods(I am using BG3MM from LaughingLeader). However, this is more than a minor annoyance. When I have to reenable my mods with the in game manager it puts the load order into alphabetical order and breaks some of my mods. How do I fix this??

This has ben mostly helpful, I'm still having trouble updating to the non mod fixer items (it kept trying to open vortex mod manager until I got fed up and deleted), but now it won't let me download it. I also seem to have to find alternative choices for some of my mods (I previously had Gold Weighs Zero, and it didn't let me update). Hello I manually updated all of my mods but now every time I try loading a save it tries loading twice, then Script Extender says "unloading session" and I end up back at the menu with "Savegame load failed Error code 302". I tried deleting all mods after this, reinstalling the game annnnd after this video I tried deleting mod settings but I am still stuck unable to play. Anyone here had this? :(

It's one of your mods. You'll need to see which ones have not been updated recently. Then try disabling those mods. You can add them back in one at a time to see which one is causing it.

If you mean in game, IGNORE IT. If you are using an external mod manager, that will be editing the mod list... if you click anything in game it will over-write your mod list and become a mess. so, just click next and don't check any boxes.

@@gamesreaper2 did you follow the video fully? The main thing is to delete the modlist file in your public folder... re-do your mods in mod manager... then click to export your mods. If you do this, it has to work. Just ignore all in game warnings.

I'm 3 min in and already wishing I found this before giving up and getting rid of BG3MM and committing myself to a game manager version only. Here's to starting over... from scratch... But I can't manipulate the load order. There are some mod fixers available for the ingame version of the MM but the load order buttons either dont exist or dont work.

You seem to know about native camera tweaks, I've been having this issue where randomly in combat I lose control of the camera, it spins around and under the floor, so the camera ends up looking right up at your tav's crotch. It's just a pain to keep repositioning the camera. I thought you just gave me the answer when you talked about the floor clipping setting. I was sure I'd go in and find in my game it was already set to false, then I could change it to true, and it would fix the issue, but nope it's already set to true, but my camera is still going clipping under the floor, any idea how I could fix this in settings?

do a sweep of your files and make sure all of your mods are up-to-date, then delete modsettings.lsx (as shown in the video), re-export your load order, and try again. Most likely it is an out of date or broken mod.

found this on reddit. the short term fix worked for me when I had this issue: text box glitch. issue with impUI. short term fix : type gustav into the text box, hit enter, check the checkbox, then enter again. should make it go away. long term fix : install impUI patch 7 ready, then (IMPORTANT), uninstall the old version though the in game mod manager.

Okay, I'm going to be straight-up honest I fucking hate Steam, and since they entirely made a new UI Steam update from a few years back, I have stopped using Steam. I use GOG Galaxy, and yes, I download my games through Steam, but then I use GOG Galaxy to play the games. They haven't made it so that you can't install 3rd party mods... and if you mean them not allowing nudity mods, that is due to PlayStation not allowing them. They have made it very annoying and difficult since their in-game stuff fights with the external mod manager... so you just have to ignore the warnings in the game and click next.
