If ALL KZbin "Producers" did videos with the same approach as yours, life would be perfect(but a LOT of repair shops would not have enough business to stay open. Thank you ten times over! I followed instructions to a tee but could not get anything to come out. Even cleaned the tubes of gunk . So reluctantly I put it back together thinking NOW I have to check the heater. I had checked the red plug on tank before but decided to pull it off and put it back on. And miracle of miracles it now works! Fingers crossed!

Thanks for the video. I’m getting into vacuum/shampooers reconditioning and repairing. Started as a hobby to keep my hands busy. I had a bypass in December and these are easier to work on than jeeps. So far I’ve reconditioned 20 vacuums and 5 shampooers I’ve acquired from goodwills. Along with some that where just to far gone to do anything with. My question is. Would running a water flush through the soap dispenser after shampooing help keep the system clean? We have no vacuum shops within 80 miles. So store bought bissell soaps are all that is really available for people. Thanks.

Ours (exactly the same as the one you have there), according to my wife, wasn't spraying water. Soap worked though. It's maybe 15 years old or so, so I went ahead and bought a Big Green 86T3 model to replace it. That should arrive later this week. (I actually wanted a 3288 model, but they apparently don't sell those in Canada yet.) However I totally took the old machine apart yesterday and gave it a bit of a refurbish. No blockage anywhere. Besides some fur/hair in some areas, it was pretty clean. At least compared to a lot of systems I've seen in videos like this. I assume one of the gaskets may not have been working 100%. So I cleaned the system, gave the gaskets a thin coat of food grade silicon grease that I have, and glued a few (not too important) plastic bits that were broken. Works like new now. So my question is about getting some of those plastic parts replaced. Specifically: - The plastic top cover for the motor. (Not the large top cover of the vacuum, but the smaller cover right on top of the motor.) The plastic for two of the four screw holes has broken away from that housing on one side. From vibration from the motor I assume....and old brittle plastic. - And one of the two plastic 'rods' that push the brush up off the floor when the vacuum handle is in the upright position, has broken. (the one on the left side if you are standing behind the machine) I tried gluing it back together, but ya, it lasted about a minute as expected. Are those two parts something that can be ordered?

Great idea! We will add revolution repair to our list. For now though there are two common issues that lead to that leak. One is the pump itself cracks and causes water to drain right out. The other part the fails is the assembled that the nozzle plugs in to. The part that the solution flows in to.

Hello your video was extremely helpful. I bought a used bissell pro heat pro tech that wasn’t working very well after taking it apart multiple times I’m left at the point where I can not get the dispenser to dispense water when the tank top is on. An excellent informative video. My machine is spraying water and sucking it back but I dont seem to be using and solution! I have put a mark on the tank to confirm it isnt adding to the water. It might be that when leant to my daughter the belt broke and her husband probably remove the top housing and did not resit the regulator. It is stiff to turn. What do you think? Regards Mick
@GetRealBaby Жыл бұрын
Did you get the belt to turn? Or you saying the regulator isn't turning properly? Not sure what you mean by the "regulator." If the belt isn't turning properly, my guess is that lint and hair from your carpet is tangled up in the red ball that the belt turns that drives the pump.

Mine pumps well from the hose but the red spinner barely had any water in it and barely if at all spins. I’ve had it apart a bunch of times. My heater is clear, the nozzles are clean, the little white filter is clean, not sure where to go next. Water comes in and back out of the red spinner and seems to get to the brush, but I’m guessing my spray pressure may be low. Any suggestions?

I have a quick question. I have a proheat 2 and when the selector is set for the upholstery cleaner the spray works for about 5 seconds then turns to a dribble. But when I respect the carpet mode the upholstery spray will work just fine. I’ve opened up the machine, all the piping is clear and clean, I can’t see any leaks, the prime is fine. Anyone have any tips?
@joshyouwaАй бұрын
@jepps77 there is a clog in the tool hose, it sonnections or the tool handle switch. Pressure builds through a tiny gap in the clog when it is not dispensing. When that pressure is released the clog prevents the pressure from building up as rapidly as it is depleted.
@jepps77Ай бұрын
@@joshyouwa I’m not sure that’s the issue. When the unit is set to carpet mode, the hand wand sprayer sprays continuously without issue at all. So I’m not sure there’s a clog.

You need to explain the plunger part better. Your hand was in the way.
@SeerSeekingTruth2 ай бұрын
The rounded part of the plunger fits into the two plastic bracket place holders located on the left hand side (when the cover is upside down). You have to turn the knob screw to water rinse only then slide the plunger into position in the two plastic brackets. Tilt the plunger forward very slightly then twist the knob screw to high traffic slowly to make the plunger catch on the screw. It might take a few tries to catch it just right. But slow and careful is key.
