How to fix blackscreen, refresh rate problem

bro i honestly cannot stress how much this helped me, i got my monitor from my brother and he said it goes up to 74 hertz, i had this monitor for a year now and finally got curious, so i changed my hertz to 75, and boom no signal. I GOT SOOOO SCARED i was playing with people at the time and they all got mad at me, i explained what happened and they tried to help me, it didnt work though. i scrolled through youtube trying to find some tutorials that might save my monitor but nothing, i gave up hope. then i found your video, at this point i basically gave up on my monitor so i didnt think it would work. IT WORKED. BRO I LOVE YOU SO MUCH IF I COULD GIVE YOU MY LIVER I WOULD YOU SAVED ME FROM A BEATING FROM MY DAD

to people who are having some problems: another way of getting into the recovery is by turning off your pc, turn it back on and as they pc is loading (the circles going around and around) turn it off again. repeat this till it says wait and it will put you in. (should only have to restard 2 - 3 times) if you press F3 and it does not let you in press F4 to go into safe mode and revert what you have done. if you did CRU like me to change Hz go into the files, then restart-all.exe and then restart your pc from the bottom left. took me v long to figure this out and it is now 1 am

Oh man! Thanks! I have accidentally, out of curiousity, changed my AMD Radeon R7 from 60 to 90hz and it's black. What I did is pressed the power button for five seconds then press it again and it the recovery appeared. Then from there I followed your instructions. Thanks man! You safe my life!

If you don't have a restart button, just hold the "Shift" button and then press power button. After that just do everything said in this video.

The supported timing of my monitor is 60hz and I havent OC'D it ever and when playing games the monitor shuts down and says current input timing is not supported .. Any fix brother ??

** Guys listen** If your PC/ Laptop doesn’t have a restart button hold shift while you power off your computer. Wait 5 seconds then turn on you computer and spam F8 and I mean spam like for like a whole minute this works trust me I did it.

I pressed F2 key which takes me to the setup and then I went to the second last option on the above Bar and make it set to the 1 and. hasaki my problem got solved by me plugging my moniter into a laptop then changing the hertz back to regular. Then after that I plugged it into my pc and it worked

HELP ME! Hello, my brand new acer 34 inch ultrawide curved monitor has this issue. It works perfectly fine with a DP cable at 180hz. And with HDMI it runs at 100hz with the hdmi cable they have provided. But i need to use it with a 10 meter long cable. With the 10m cable it only works at 60hz and not at 100hz. I have tried many hdmi cables and all those cables work with my LG monitor at 144hz but not with my acer monitor. HELP ME PLEASE!

Well i changed my GPU from RX 470 to RX 5700, and i have this same problem, but on boot, and i cant see or interact! When windows loading the message dissapears and pc is normal, but until my PC boot up, i get the Input timing message. I changed to my previous GPU, and i was able too see boot and interact, but i cant see or interact with my new GPU. Do you have any idea because it sucks!
