Oh no. Not 3 times! Once you put the activator and top coat on, you won’t be able to see the file marks.

Just subscribed! Your videos are so easy to follow. I just tried the Nailboo nail dip system for the first time today and did end up with a couple of lumpy nails. Pretty proud of myself for getting the remaining 8 smooth. :) I was afraid I was going to have to remove those nails and start over, but these tips took care of it for me. You can still file after applying the top coat. Once done, apply the activator then top coat again

Absolutely! I think dip is holding up ok for 3 days now , my issue with dipping powder is with a little bit of force my nail crack/chip any tips on that beautiful?

Don’t be scared. It’s a really simple process. Apply thin layers of the base liquid and all should be fine. Worse case, you will have to file to smooth out some rough parts but I’m sure it will turn out great.

Can I file after top coat has dried and I notice a lump? Will a hand file work? Or will I have to redo everything??

Yes you can file the top coat and fix the lump. After fixing it, wipe the nail with alcohol to remove all residue, apply activator then top coat again. No need to redo everything.

How many times do you dip in the color powder? I’m finding I end up filing the color off in spots.

It depends on the color. If it’s transparent then I might do 4 or 5 and skip the build powder. If it’s darker I may only do 3 plus build powder.

Nail boo says these are five minute nails, but it takes longer than that. What if you have an electric nail file?

Yes they’re ads are very misleading, but a nail file will speed up the process.

I like Lavender Violets and Beetles top coat. They dry much faster and both brands are on Amazon so delivery is quick.
