How to fix car cd player that won't read cds

This is an old radio. This one here just may not be worth fooling with due to its age and use it'll probably just give you problems one after another You're probably just better off buying a new one that's top seller on the market that won't give you any problems.

The hardest part about this video is remembering how to reassemble! The ultrasonic cleaner will not damage the optical pick up or more specifically ”objective lens” which have become dirty, the Isopropyl Alcohol is the final cleaning. Using this alcohol type should only be the 99.5 % grade as it contains no water compared to the 70% with can contaminate circuitry. And the final blow dryer to evaporate any left over liquid. If it works, it works if not something else is wrong, but it was a good silent video, for me anyways 😎

thank you it can be understood in any language . the machine for cleaning is called an ultra sonic cleaner . my car cd kenwood skips a bit I will keep on looking for a solution . I have no ultrasonic cleaner .

THanks for posting, I have this very problem, 30 year old blaupunkt, can see the laser beam using my camera (Infrared light) tried to adjust the potentiometer like in the other vids but does not work, laser lens likely dirty on the inside, will try the ultrasonic bath since my laser pick up can´t be bought for money anymore, and a ultrasonic bath is like 30 bucks. (Need a vintage radio for a vintage porsche restoration so that is why I don´t want to just buy a new one)
