I don't see clearly where to put the newly bought Pcv valve. What hose do I install it on? The one coming or going to the pcv valve on the car already? I have this issue and I can't figure out how to correct it

You need to remove the intake manifold to use the pcv

Where do i put the pcv? From the intake manifold to the back of the valve cover where the hose is connected.

Yes in the back you cut the hose in the middle also you buy some hose from AutoZone and buy some clamps

Or you buy a new valve cover but you can fix it without buying any valve cover

Hello, My 2007 BMW X3 has this code P0171 and the RPM's are surging until I get up to about 60mph. My mechanic has changed the valve cover gasket but its still not helping & I still see smoke coming from the area. Is the valve cover and the valve cover gasket the same thing?

Hi not the gasket you need to replace the valve cover CCV is on the cover

Go outside start the car let running do not shut it off. Open engine oil cap from valve cover close it with your palm hand if There’s a pressure try to suck your hand
