Ive repeated these steps for all 4 directions left right up down. Then I started keep pressing the left stick and rotating. Let it dry for a night, Drift was fixed.

Every ps5 controller ive bought has gotten stick drift within a month

So we all now that probably 95% of PS5 owners had analog shifting issue with at least 1 controller. I have 4 dualsense controllers and 3 of them have the same problem! Left analog is shifting to the left, and 4th one that i'm almost not using will probably have the same issue. I know they are some YT tutorials how to opet them and maybe clean but i didn't want to give Sony any opportunity to cancel my warranty so i have called them and they have accepted 2 controller to fix cause they were still under warranty. They did their job pretty fast, but they sent me new ones instead of fixing, and that is ok. The problem here is that they do not cover shipping cost, so i had to pay amount almost half of a cost of 1 brand new controller, and i'm not fine with that. I should not pay even $1 for something that was clearly Sonys fault, i asked them to at least give me some PS plus credit for that, and they have refused...First of all this was not 1 in 1000 accidental issues, this is a global dualsense problem that Sony should FIX!! And not only controllers under warranty but all of them since this is a product defect, the same what car brands are doing recalling defect models. This is not fair and i will think about which console i will buy next.

Yeah slowly rolling. Press down roll Pull up roll and blew in it as hard is I could from different angles. Fixed my left stick drift

I tried this way and it actually works, I did it before every gaming session for a week and it seems to have cleared the drift... if micro dust is the culprit I always now keep my controller safe inside a box, so when it's not in use it is always covered.. it's surprising how much dust lands on your stuff in just one day..

I was aiming and when I shot my fucking stick made me miss my shot. It keeps happening now with that controller every once and a while. It's not all the time but I hope it doesn't get worse. I need to find a way to fix it.

I had this annoying problem on my ps4, not super bad but, you know, annoying anyway. Once I finally bought a ps5, after 8/9 months it started to do the same, even worse then my ps4 controller; I had a look on youtube and I found videos like this, so I tried and worked well but like just for the first day, then it started again and got worse and worse. So the only thing to do at that point was to send the dual sense back on assistance since it was still on warranty, but meanwhile I bought another one because I didn't want to stay weeks without playing. The result? Now after a couple of weeks I can tell it's starting again in the new controller as well! I mean, I never hit it, throw it away, I keep it on the forniture in my living room which is honestly pretty clean, but even if it wasn't, I can't believe that only after a couple of weeks (maybe even less) the stick started to drift again. Now I'll have to wait for my repaired controller back and probably I'll send the new one again to let it fix it. All of this just to say that it's incredible how a colossus like Sony that makes you pay roughly £500 and like £60 for a controller having this serial defect; I mean, two out of two had the same problem, the second one incredibly after such a short time, and I didn't do nothing but just play normally. Let me say I find this stuff pretty shameful.

Thank you!!! This did the trick 100%. My drift was caused by debris from friction in my case and was so bad that I was ready to buy a new controller. HIGHLY recommend you invest in microtools before attempting this. Especially micro needle nose pliers! The components are way smaller than they appear in the video. My only issue is now, the left stick isn't as smooth.
