You are the first one to actually trying to help! As much as i like ayesha malik, she really didnt mention anything to her audience what could help. She vanished completly which i find kind of irresponsible since i did indeed bought deva curl because of her :/

Aww well I’m happy to help! I turn to YT for everything too when I need help with something so I totally understand the struggle after everyone shared their hair loss experiences! 💛

I find it irresponsible that you are looking at paid influencers to know what to buy for your hair, rather than take advice from licensed professionals. The damage Ms Malik faced was very severe. Maybe she "disappeared" because she never found a solution to her problem. It is not her job to tell you what to do when she barely can figure out what to do for herself. Maybe she doesn't want to feel guilt in suggesting new products to her followers and potentially they have negative side affects again. Grow up, stop blaming her, she suffered enough. If you're having issues go seek professional help and stay off of KZbin.

@@jayjohnson8403 It seems like you didnt watch any of her videos at all. She did promote the products for free besides three times as she said and it seems like you dont know how youtube works? If you're intrested in a product its only logical to look up reviews to see how it works for similar hair types.And it isnt in any way her fault but when she says she'll say in the next video what helped her but doesnt post for months of course it seems irresponsible for her since she promoted them so heavily just like other youtubers. I didnt get affected but there are a lot of woman who did so videos like these are helpful while Ayesha Malik said nothing about it for a long time.

It's a year later so you might already know but: Ayesha disappeared because someone she loved died around the same time of the DevaCurl issues. She's human, she needed to grieve.

CRAZY! I only now finding out about Devacurl 😭 I’ve been using their products since 2017 and I thought it was my hair dresser that kept thinning out my hair too much when I would get a trim! This is crazy now I know why my hair is so thin and my curls are gone 😭 just bought the collagen and MSM. Time to take our curly hair back!

WOW YOUR DEVACURL HAIR LOSS LOOKS JUST LIKE MY SCALP! I didnt use sulfates which was a big no no for me so my hair started falling out from buildup. Now my scalp looks just like yours did in the thumbnaik. I just used a sulfate shampoo for the first time in a year. Cant wait till my hair grows back now that its not being blocked by sebum and product. Thx for the advice!💕

Hey gorgeous! ❤ Look into Black castor oil by Jamaica from Amazon. It's the best for hair growth. Also, I highly recommend switching your multivitamin to a diff brand. That brand contains a lot of other ingredients as chemicals. Look into a more natural/organic brand that come from fruits and veggies. Brands like Synergy, which I like, or Megafood. Lmk if you do the switch

I hope those omega vitamins are kept cold especially if it contains flax seed oil. It goes rancid fast and rancid flax seed oil has been known to cause hair loss.

Yaaaaaay!! Great video! I just found out I can probably try the mms because it's different than other sulfar products I'm allergic to. So I will be looking into it. Unfortunately I also found out my thyroid is high even after eating a thyroid friendly diet. So I'm on thyroid medication which has the side effect of hair loss. Joy. It's supposed to go away so hopefully it will but I'm going to step up my hair growth game. Thanks for sharing all your tips. It really does help so many people. And I cannot agree with you more about the Denman brush. I've used one for years and just thought it was great. Lol. I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy. 💖💖💖

I would credit your healthy eating habits more than what this collagen deserves. I'm not against it but you noticed the drastic cease of hair loss at that time potentially because you also stopped using deva curl products too. You are young and you generally take an amazing job taking care of your hair which all help. So, yeah I always feel skeptical when a product gets a hype because there are so many factors involved and when it comes to the health of our hair, nothing can beat a well balanced diet with ample amounts of fruit, vegetables, healthy fats, and lean sources of protein, and of course plenty of water which I'm glad you mentioned. One last thing you don't need fish oil supplements if you already include 2 servings of fish per week. It's always recommended to talk to a physician before starting supplements.

@Vainilla B I take nature made nail, skin, and hair gummies, neocell collagen pills with vitamin c that one is better for me, and nature bounty biotin liquid pills. I had to stop the msm I was breaking out and rash badly throughout my body.... For the little time I took it my hair did look thicker but had to stop the msm. I do also take slow release iron pills because I do have anemia. I hope this helps. I also use hair products that work for me no rice water because it didn't work for me and I tried it twice in different ways. 😊

@@TheReAlEtty hi! I know about your hair being ruined by DC. Sorry for that. I know that my recipe would not work on your hair (my hair is so fine), but...the main ingredients in my recipe that I benefit from are marshmallow and flaxseed. Both very healing. I strongly recommend that you go to curlmix (theirs contain the same basic ingredients) website (curlmix.com/) and take the little quiz in the top bar on the front page to determine the best of their line to use for your hair. THEN, get the 4 step kit that they recommend according to the test (curlmix.com/collections/four-step-wash-go-system). Their prices are really fair and today they are having 15% off. I think that curlmix would be perfect for your hair. Due to how super fine my hair is, some of their stuff is a bit heavy for my hair, but i really like their products because they contain marshmallow and flaxseed....both so good for the hair. Try 'em!

Anna Burns I really appreciate that you took the time to reply to me, but I don’t have curly hair. I have fine, thin, straight hair. Some times it looks a little 2a but I still consider it straight. I just ended up watching stuff about DC through YT suggestions, and watched tons of videos and scrolling through the comments I saw yours and didn’t even think about the fact that what you’re using is for someone with curly hair. So thank you! And if you think it could still work for me, please share the recipe. Thanks so much again! Sorry for the confusion. My hair was ruined by color remover and bleach.
@annaburns5382
@annaburns5382 4 жыл бұрын
@@TheReAlEtty Sorry for the mix up. If your hair was damaged by bleach and color remover, I would guess there is really nothing you can do for it, except either cut it really short or keep trimming the dead ruined part off the ends. I'm sorry that happened to you. I bet you are a lot smarter now and maybe won't put that stuff in your hair anymore. Going natural is so much better. There is really nothing that you can do for the damaged hair. It is beyond repair. Get a cute short cut for a while and let all the dead stuff grow out. Then later grow it out if you miss your longer hair. Also, aloe vera shampoo/conditioner would be good for your scalp. Get as clean natural organic products as you cane. Your scalp is probably damaged as well.

Hi! Thanks for all the tips I actually just bought that exact collagen for my coffee. Do you find the first supplement you mentioned with the omega & biotin makes your skin oily? When I used to take biotin it would make my skin super oily and breakout but hair and nails were so nice. Scared to take anything with biotin in it. Thanks again! x

I use a bunch of HUM Nutrition supplements, that include collegen, I also take Vitamin E separately, and have a supplement from HUM called Collagen POP. My hair and skin have been looking great since I have been using that. I think that may be why Devacurl hasn't hit my hair that bad,

I use DevaCurl and SheaMoisture but my hair is flat, full of frizz, undefined, dry, and my hair only lasts for a day. HELP

I usually put oil in my hair the day before wash day, and let it sit over night and wash the next morning! If you wash your hair at night, try putting the oil in your hair in the morning when you wake up and rinse it out at the end of the day.

Yo, Any idea if using Splenda or sweetener in black coffee with a mix of msm, vit c, and collagen will mess with the effect? I’ve seen a lot of mixed info from different places. If you can’t use powdered sweetener, what about liquid stevia or something like that? I’m trying to figure out the best way to integrate the supplements into my normal routine. So there was this beauty supply place shutting down near me and I got 2 whole boxes of devacurl products for like $200. I got the whole line and completely switched over to Devacurl, and after 3 weeks I had lost at least half the density of my hair from a combination of breakage and fallout. It also had a relaxing effect on my hair, it’s been about 3 months since I stopped using there products and my hair is still straight. I can’t find anything on how to get my curls back if anyone has any suggestions it’d really help me out

This vid is a good start from the inside, from the outside i recommend all natural like barley any store bought products. I suggest a good shampoo that will actually cleanse the scalp. Use it once or twice a week. Get an aloe leaf and blend it without the skin and a couple tbsps of filtered water and strain it with hose or a trouser sock. Keep in fridge for a week or in the freezer until needed. Flax seed gel makes a great natural holding gel, store in freezer as well in ice cube trays. Tea tree oil is healing but you have to make sure to dilute it, deep condition with heat (like a towel around you head) with oil or a banana(please strain after blending) and avacado hair mask. I use the aloe and tea tree oil w/ castor and vitamin e or jojoba on my scalp and the flax on the whole length of my hair. May also try apple cider rinse.
