Do you walk like a duck? Try not to! Hopefully this video helps make things easier!

Very helpful, I love how the stretch made it much more easier to consciously manipulate my feet into walking straight

Thanks so much for this great advise. I have been suffering for ages with knee pain and no one ever explained to me what could be the cause of it. It all makes sense now. I have always walked with my feet in this position, maybe due to having ballet classes in childhood. 🙏🙏🙏

Thanks! I used to walk like a duck. I corrected it and In turn my flat feet were fixed. It’s a constant fight though because I sit so much.

I’m confused. How did this fix your flat feet? How can this stretch add arches?

Hi Grant, super video as always! I keep working on the couch stretch but do find it brutal! Watched this as my right foot turns IN not out especially when it’s resting, extremely tight hip on the same side, will try to keep working on this stretch, any other advice would be appreciated! Thank you! ❤

I walk with my feet facing forward, however, when i stand in front of a mirror with my knees facing forward so that they bend in the forward direction, my feet are facing outwards i.e. the duck feet position.. from there if i correct my feet to face forwards, my knees turn inwards, and when i go into a squat, my knees are now caving inward...really confused as to what's going on...

Feet should be maybe slightly out when squatting.

i'm not sure if you are gonna see this or not but i'm still gonna ask. when i try to do the stretch exercise against the wall my quats are muscles i really feel it and they don't allow me to go further without hurting so i just don't feel it in my hip. is there something that i can do about it or should i just do it until my quats don't hurt anymore and i'm starting to feel in my hips?
@YourWellnessNerd Жыл бұрын
Hey Alex! It may mean your quads are the tightest part, but it may also mean you might need to alter the stretch to find it better. Something like a kneeling hip flexor stretch may help target things better for anyone needing a more hip specific exercises!

Its always best to work within what feels comfy, with the knowledge that as things loosen it should start to feel more comfy.

It depends how dysfunctional someones tissue is and how diligent they are at rectifying things. Could take a few weeks or a few months depending on the person and any limitations they might have

One of my legs is a little longer than the other.. do you think this could be causing my duck walk?
@peggypiercefield51886 ай бұрын
My son has this problem and he uses what's called an instep in one of his shoes to lengthen that leg.
