Omg this is brilliant! I would have never thought to use a makeup brush to define specific strands. I’m excited to give this a try - thank you, April! Have a lovely weekend. ❤

Thanks Alexis! The trickiest part is figuring out how much water to use - and that completely depends on your own hair. Not wet enough & it won’t reset it the curl…too wet & it won’t dry fast enough. So, you can err on the side of using too much water and use a diffuser to help speed up the drying time if needed. I hope this helps! ♥️🥂

And here I thought I've been going crazy lately when I keep finding a few totally wonky "curls" in the bunch that almost look like they were flatironed 😂 Now I'm wondering if they're little rebel sections that just want to curl in the opposite direction, so they don't form properly with the others Thanks for the great tips as always!! 💜

😆 I’m glad this was helpful! Adding water and giving the curl a little scrunch can help you find the direction it wants to curl. I definitely have some lazy ones that like more encouraging. Enjoy your curls! ♥️

I use a smooth lacquer or coated wood chopstick. I also use the chopsticks to fit my hair and get the diffuser targeted right at the root. Sure helps dry faster.
