Thanks for the video. I have problem with Downloads folder. So, this is what I did. Issue: Download folder showing "working on it", when close become hang i.e. "Not responding". Solution: 1) to close hang window explore. Right click Task bar> Task manager> Details tab> find (yellow icon) explorer.exe> right click> end task, end process> go to File> Run new task> type explorer.exe > OK. Get to comeback to window front page. 2) access files in Download folder from Microsoft Edge browser 3 dots> Settings> Downloads. Copy download location put in browser address bar. All files in download folder will appear. You can save as the files. Or click file to download and access Downloads folder from the notification window (3 dots) when it appear in bottom (show in folder).

On to tip #3 and I'm thinking I need a break. Is this common to get very DRAINED in trying to find a solution for technical issues for a computer one uses to GET A JOB? Tip 3 seems excessive to me. What happens if one only clicks on restore defaults and that's it and does not do the other steps? Does it mess something else up further? Cuz tip 1 2 and 3 did not work at all. Now I need to write a cover letter in the body of the email itself.

Tried tip 1 half an hour ago. It didn't work. I was going to see if I could unhide the files and I can't do that since If I go into file explorer to unhide something it's not the documents I need to unhide. It's only 2 cover letters I need to unhide and I unhiding them - did nothing. I rebooted my computer. That did not work. Now I'm waiting for Windows to "update". I think it didn't update at all.

After I installed the system, the computer became slower, but the machine is i7 processer, 16GB ram, other programs run very well, except file explorer. It takes 10 mins to open it, and 10 mins to close it, this really kills me! Thank you for asking!
