My issue was that when i try to open office documents the file explorer gets a not responding error. I just adjusted the display resolution one level down from the recommended 1366x768 to 1280x720.

The next day the same issue reoccured. Resolution: I removed the file explorer shortcut on the taskbar since it always goes to not responding status when I select document/office files. I created a new folder icon on the desktop. From there I was able to open my files.
